SHIPPING POLICY

1. Order Processing

At Jemiva, every plant is carefully inspected and packed before dispatch to ensure it reaches you fresh and healthy.

• All orders are processed within 24 hours of confirmation
• Orders placed before 5:00 PM are usually processed the same day
• Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays will be processed on the next working day
• You will receive order confirmation via SMS / WhatsApp / Email

2. Delivery Timeline

Local Delivery

• Standard delivery: 1–3 working days
• Express delivery (where available): same day / next day

Outstation Delivery

• 3–6 working days depending on location
• Remote areas may take additional time

Delivery time may vary due to weather, festivals, or courier delays.

3. Packaging Standards

Since we ship live plants, special care is taken:

• Breathable protective packing
• Soil secured to avoid spillage
• Moisture wrapping to keep plants fresh
• Strong cartons to prevent damage
• Pots protected with cushioning

We pack plants in a way that they can safely travel for several days.

4. Delivery Charges

• Shipping charges are calculated at checkout
• Free delivery on orders above the promotional threshold
• Extra charges may apply for remote locations
• Heavy items like soil/pots may have separate charges

5. On Delivery – Customer Responsibility

To keep your plant healthy, please:

  1. Receive the order personally
  2. Open the package immediately
  3. Keep the plant in shade for 24–48 hours
  4. Water lightly if soil feels dry
  5. Follow the care card provided

Plants may look slightly tired after travel – this is normal and they recover in 1–2 days.

6. Delivery Attempt Rules

If Customer Is Not Available

• Courier will attempt re-delivery once
• Further attempts may have extra charges
• Order may be cancelled if unreachable

Incorrect Address

• Re-routing charges will be collected
• Jemiva is not responsible for delays due to wrong address/phone

7. Damaged or Delayed Delivery

If you receive:

• Damaged plant
• Broken pot
• Completely dried plant

You must:

  1. Take opening video while unboxing
  2. Share within 24 hours
  3. Contact our support team

Without opening video, claims may not be accepted.

8. Non-Serviceable Areas

Some locations may not be serviceable for live plants due to:

• Extreme weather
• Courier limitations
• Remote access

In such cases:

• Order will be cancelled
• Full refund will be processed

9. Order Tracking

After dispatch you will receive:

• Tracking ID
• Courier details
• Delivery updates via WhatsApp/SMS

10. Special Notes for Live Plants

• Leaf drop after travel is normal
• Color may vary slightly
• Growth depends on care & environment
• Plants are non-returnable except damage cases
